Unsigned vintage aluminum necklace in a textured goldtone oval link design.
This is 48 inches long (approx.) lightweight, with grooved link faces and smooth edged links that are about 7/16 x 5/16 inch in size.
This is all one piece with no clasp (which is where a maker's mark is usually found).
Unmarked, but lightweight and does not attract to a magnet which is typical for eloxal aluminum which came into being in the 1940's.
This piece could have had a "Western Germany" maker as most of the eloxal aluminum jewelry pieces were made there at the time.
This looks in good vintage condition from what I could see - not perfect of course (has a few dings here and there) and could use a cleaning.
