An unusual find from an estate, this charming ring, and several others, were sample "Engagement" rings in a jewelry store that has long closed.
Gorgeous, princess cut solitaire.
Marked on the inside with a "U" with n arrow through it which is the mark for Uncas Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island which was in business from 1911 until at least 1988.
It is marked as a size 8 and according to my ring sizer, it is.
The silvertone plating is in good condition with little signs of wear.
The stone is about 7mm; the ring band is about 2mm wide.
This well made piece would make a great right hand ring, interim engagement or promise ring, vacation ring, or good if you need to pretend to be married.
The stones, may be genuine, in this case I highly doubt it, but I am not sure and am pricing these as just pretty rings. If they are real and worth much more, you got a bonus.
Well made with stones intact
I see a little wear and minor scratches to this ring.
*Please check to make sure the stones and setting are very secure and then have the pieces of vintage jewelry gently cleaned by a jeweler or collector who understands vintage jewelry.
*All items are "as is" and there are no returns so please read the descriptions and see the photos before you buy.
