During the April 16th 2009 TODAY show, Dr. Nancy Snyderman was discussing ways to take care of yourself in these stressful times and she mentioned using Aromatherapy - in particular lavender for stress.
Most of these have a matching or co-ordinating neck pillow, travel pillow, sleep pillow, dream pillow, and/or sachets too.
This is another of my hand-cut and hand-sewn eye masks - pillows.
This one is made of a vintage, blue roses print cotton fabric.
It is 8 1/4" across, 4" top to bottom, 1 1/2" thick and it has a 16 3/4" (unstretched)white 1/4" wide elastic strap.
(all measurements are approx).
Nose opening is 1 1/4" across at the top and 1 1/2" across at the bottom and it is 1 1/4" deep/high.
Stuffed with real lavender buds and a little fiberfill to keep the herbs from bunching up and add to the wearing comfort/softness.
Soft and flexible to conform to the face and help keep light out, as well as allow the aroma of the lavender to envelope you.
Because this has REAL herbs/flowers inside, it cannot be washed so please use a washable liner underneath.
