Nice N.O.S. (new old stock - meaning old, but never sold so never used) still in the box vintage hat !
This one is birdcage style vintage hat - black velvet bow on top with black velvet flower and leaves hanging down and a black veil.
Label reads 'Mr John Caprice - New York - Paris'
The veil and the velvet bow... could use a little fluffing as it has been confined to its box for 50 or more years.
After I unpacked it to take the photos, I carefully wrapped the veil part around a piece of tissue paper to keep it from creasing any more - hopefully this will help to fluff it up
* I do not clean the items - I sell them in the same condition as I find them as I am not an expert.
As hats are delicate, they need to be sent in a box and packed carefully which means it adds to the cost of getting it to you, but this cannot be helped.
