Nice N.O.S. (new old stock - meaning old, but never sold so never used) vintage hat I think and was told, but because patent leather shows every little piece of lint and streak, it's hard to tell.
It sure looks unused to me, but it needs polished up by someone who knows how to treat patent leather.
This one has an almost 'top hat' look, but the brim is gently sloped down and out for 1 1/2 inches in the back, increasing to 3" in the front instead.
It is about 10 x 9 3/4 inches from brim to brim across the hat.
Inside is about 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches across and it is about 6" in the back and 7 inches high in the front.
The only label is a size label that reads '22'
Although I believe that this is a N.O.S. hat, I am selling it at a sale/used price - just in case.
* I do not clean the items - I sell them in the same condition as I find them as I am not an expert.
As hats are delicate, they need to be sent in a box and packed carefully which means it adds to the cost of getting it to you, but this cannot be helped.
