Nice N.O.S. (new old stock - meaning old, but never sold so never used) I think, but not sure on this one - vintage hat.
This one is birdcage style vintage hat - 2 huge white roses with lavender crushed velvet ribbon and pale lavender netting as the veil.
The white roses section is about 6" high x 8" wide and the veil is about 15" across and 7-8" long.
Union label reads 'Union Made kk606414 in USA'
I see a few places where the old glue has yellowed and I see a few spots on the flowers as well, not sure if it is old glue or what - not bad, but wanted to mention it.
I also see a few small holes in the netting which could easily be covered with little silk flowers or fuzzy dots...
The sale price reflects these condition issues.
I am including a photo of how a birdcage veil hat could be worn on the side (as well as the top or at the back of the head) of your head, but this photo is NOT this hat - just an example.
* I do not clean the items - I sell them in the same condition as I find them as I am not an expert.
As hats are delicate, they need to be sent in a box and packed carefully which means it adds to the cost of getting it to you, but this cannot be helped.
