Beautiful, almost 1/8" thick (when left doubled) deep green colored and light gold colored 1 1/2 inch wide (when either used as the 'bread' of the fabric sandwich or if flattened out) vintage 'fold over' drapery or upholstery trim to be sold by the yard.
It comes open at the top so that you can just insert your drapery fabric in and then sew both the top and bottom at once.
Or, I imagine that you can unfold it and use it flattened out with the scalloped fringe sticking up.
The photo with my hand holding the trim open didn't capture the correct color, but you can see how it would work by 'sandwiching' around whatever fabric you are using.
