Nice N.O.S. (new old stock - meaning old, but never sold so never used) vintage hat that belonged to Mrs. F - owner of the old Valley View Department Store in Brookfield, Ohio.
She sold several of her store's NOS vintage items to me several years back.
From being displayed on the shelf, there is a one inch tear in the front of the veil, but it is not very noticable and can easily be hidden by folding the netting up over itself.
The label edge is a little frayed as well.
It is about 7 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches from edge to edge across the hat.
This hat sits snugly on the head.
This is wire-framed chocolate brown woven hat with velvet braiding at the top, over the framing, and at the tassel ends.
This pretty vintage hat also has a matching brown veil.
Label inside reads 'Beverly Exclusive Creation New York'
* I do not clean the items - I sell them in the same condition as I find them as I am not an expert.
As hats are delicate, they need to be sent in a box and packed carefully which means it adds to the cost of getting it to you, but this cannot be helped.
