This is a Leisure Arts 99 Granny Squares to Crochet book from 1998.
This pattern book had 58 pages and is in good condition.
Of course, there are a few minor signs of use and wear.

I do not know if the household had pets - they do NOT smell like smoke to me so I don't believe anyone in the household was a smoker.
