One pair of unused vintage pillowcases.
These are hand embroidered with the word YOURS on one and MINE on the other and both have orange and peach wildflowers and little blue flowers.
This beautiful pair of vintage pillowcases also has a hand crocheted edge done in white crochet thread.
These measure 22 inches wide and 31 inches long which includes the 1" hand crocheted edging.
This is a cute His and Her's pair.
I got these from an estate.
They are such pretty pillowcases.
I was told that these were made many years ago and were to be given as gifts, but the lady never got around to it.
So these were washed, starched and ironed by the original maker and then put away in plastic to keep them clean.
I am not an expert and I have not washed them.
Of course, they have some yellowing due to age (much of it - if not all of it - may be from the old starch and might come out upon washing in Biz)
* I did take a few dollars off of the price just in case it did not come out after washing - although the design itself and the crocheted edging is worth a pretty penny and much more than I am asking so either way, it's a good deal.
They are coming to you just like you see them and the same way they came out of the house where they were stored in plastic in a cedar chest.
As I said, looks pretty good and were never used. Of course, they will need washed to remove the old starch and the yellowing & to freshen them up.
I do not know if the household had pets - they do NOT smell like smoke at all to me so I don't believe anyone in the household was a smoker.
